Wordless Wednesday – AC baby!

21 Jun

Well, summer has only just begun but we have already successfully completed a family vacation to Atlantic City!  And here are some of my favorite pictures from the trip to prove it!

We had a lot of fun but it’s always hard to say goodbye to the ocean and come home.

Wordless Wednesday – Easter

11 Apr

Okay, it’s been a little while since I’ve posted a Wordless Wednesday, but here goes.  The following are a few pictures of my handsome Lil Guy (and me) from Easter Sunday.  He’s just so adorable, it’s no wonder he’s spoiled!

I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter Sunday and that you enjoyed these photos of our lovely day!

Not so Wordless Wednesday – The Vow

15 Feb

Well, this is such a great photo and I’m sure that most sane women in America agree with what it states.  But, all joking aside, I just went to see the movie “The Vow” last night; which is what this comment refers to, and it was the best romantic movie I have seen since “The Notebook.”  You’ve all seen the previews: a young married couple gets into a car accident and the wife wakes up from a coma to find that she has lost her memories from the last several years.  With me being a huge fan of Nicholas Sparks (and this story just had so many of the same qualities), I knew I would love it!

Watching the characters in flashbacks of the flirtatious beginning of their relationship to the deep love and understanding they shared with one another before the accident made me long to be in love again.  Someday, obviously.  And, with the right person.  And, even though I went to see the movie with my sister, since I was not otherwise spoken for this Valentine’s Day, it was still the perfect movie to indulge in on this occasion.  Watching Channing Tatum be the loving doting husband to begin with and envying his love for Rachel McAdams was one thing.  But, then he dedicated himself to making her fall in love with him all over again!  Wow!  What an amazing guy (and beautiful to look at too)!  I won’t give anything else away but if you enjoy a good love story then definitely see it!!!

And, I’m going to sound like the stereotypical single woman here for a moment but where’s my Prince Charming?  Really, this chick has an amazing guy that made her fall in love with him not just once but is trying desperately to do it again; where do you find that kind of dedication and loyalty these days!  It is movies like this, “The Notebook,” “While You Were Sleeping,”  “A Walk To Remember” (I could go on and on) that make us all remember that while these stories are just that – stories – the magic of being in love is out there; we just have to be open to finding it.

So, in conclusion, I extend my telepathic heartfelt invitation to a Leo (Channing Tatum’s character) twin to come find me and sweep me off my feet!

Wordless Wednesday – Love!

9 Feb

About a week and a half ago, I had the wonderful idea to do an impromptu photo shoot with Lil Guy for Valentine’s Day cards.  Since he has a short attention span, a task like this can be fun and challenging all at once.  So, after maybe an hour of different poses, frustrating outfit changes and temper tantrums, I was able to get several decent pictures of Lil Guy and I:

Which one of these is your favorite?  Also, any unique ideas for alternative poses in the future?  (I’m always trying to come up with something fresh and new)…

Wordless Wednesday -Atlantic City

22 Dec

Well, for the past few days, I was in Atlantic City with Lil Guy, my dad and my aunt.  While walking the boardwalk bundled up in heavy jackets, scarves and gloves is not quite as nice as enjoying it in the freedom and warmth of the summertime air, we still had a really nice mini vacation!  It’s always nice to get away and have a few extra days off work!  Here are a few pics from our trip.
